Project Highlights:

• Demolished and removed 150,000 SF of bridge superstructure.
• Removed 5,200 CY substructure, some of which was underwater, with a majority of concrete removal performed from barges on the river using underwater hydraulic hammers guided by Trimble 3D technology.
• Removed 4,450,000 lbs. of structural steel.
• Excavated concrete debris from the river with a barge-mounted clam bucket, while divers ensured all debris was cleared and rebar was cut flush.
