Hurricane Irene Streambed Restoration

Project Highlights:

• Aided in the natural disaster emergency response after Hurricane Irene.
• The hurricane damaged bridges backed up streams which caused them to overflow, and disturbed streambeds.
• Removed a damaged bridge as well as restored existing streambeds that were disturbed.
• The collaborative efforts of public and private agencies ensured a successful and rapid recovery.
