UHS Wilson Tower Hospital, Johnson City, New York
Hello, Wrecking Wednesday! This week features the demolition at the UHS Wilson Tower Hospital in Johnson City, New York, which highlights Sessler Wrecking’s capabilities when it comes to providing solutions to delicate situations.
Sessler Wrecking was tasked with the demolition and removal of a concrete overhead canopy that was both partially free-standing and attached to the hospital entrance. This required precise techniques to be utilized in order to prevent the remainder of the building from being damaged. In addition, Sessler Wrecking worked closely with the hospital to ensure that the safety, comfort and care of patients were maintained.
All demolished materials were recycled at an approved waste disposal site.
As always safety was the main priority, and this project was completed with zero injuries or safety incidents.
