Welcome to another edition of Wrecking Wednesday!  This week, Sessler Wrecking is shining a spotlight on an environmental service demolition project in Indian Head, Maryland.

Sessler Wrecking took on the responsibility of performing the investigation, decontamination, and controlled selective demolition of five structures on a U.S. Naval Support Facility in Maryland. Our crew’s efforts were successful in managing hazardous materials, including explosive-finished single-based propellant grains and residual dust, primarily nitrocellulose, which were discovered in tanks, equipment, process piping, and building surfaces.

This project was accomplished through careful coordination with both the client and the U.S. Navy, ensuring effective collaboration throughout the process.

Due to the expertise and commitment of our exceptional team, this project finished on schedule and without any safety incidents.
