The wait is finally over; it is time for another Wrecking Wednesday. This week, we are highlighting our emergency fire cleanup response in Ovid, New York.

Sessler Wrecking was called to respond to an emergency fire involving multiple connected properties on Main Street in downtown Ovid, New York. Our crew worked diligently alongside the fire department to support controlled structural stabilization efforts during the incident and, once the fire was contained, secured the site to ensure it was left in the safest possible condition for the community.

A few months later, our team returned to complete the removal of remaining debris using controlled friable asbestos demolition methods, fully clearing and preparing the site for the next contractor to proceed with backfilling and final project completion.

It was an honor to assist the Town of Ovid and the surrounding property owners during this recovery effort.
