Welcome back to another edition of Wrecking Wednesday! This week, Sessler Wrecking is shining the spotlight on the demolition of Route 2 over I-89 in Richmond, Vermont.
Sessler Wrecking was entrusted with the task of safely demolishing and removing the current superstructure, making space for the new bridge to be constructed. Our team of bridge demolition experts took on the challenge of dismantling the deck and meticulously using cranes to remove the steel components with precision and care.
To reduce disruptions, our expert demolition team thoughtfully planned the project to minimize inconvenience. This involved closing the road below and scheduling portions of the work during nighttime hours to prevent traffic delays.
