We are kicking off the first Wednesday of the month with a brand-new Wrecking Wednesday. This week, Sessler Wrecking is highlighting the demolition of Randall’s Island Ramp in Randall’s Island, New York!

Sessler Wrecking was tasked with removing three outdated pedestrian ramps that no longer met ADA compliance standards. In addition, we demolished an 18,000-square-foot former exit ramp from the RFK Toll Plaza, carefully executing the work to minimize traffic disruptions while making way for future enhancements.

This project also involved removing 500 feet of parapet and deck while preserving the existing steel reinforcing bars to support future construction efforts.

This multi-phase project lasted over a year and a half and showcased Sessler Wrecking’s expertise in executing complex demolitions with safety, efficiency, and precision.
