It’s Wednesday, and you know what that means—Wrecking Wednesday! This week, Sessler Wrecking is excited to shine a spotlight on one of our most technical bridge demolition projects yet. Our team took on the challenge of demolishing the Pearl Harbor Memorial Bridge in New Haven, Connecticut.

In this demanding project, our crews successfully removed over 170,000 square feet of concrete decking. We also demolished and removed 10,000 cubic yards of concrete substructure, with half of the material submerged underwater at depths of over 30 feet. The work was meticulously carried out from both trestles and barges, showcasing the expertise and precision of our team.
