We’ve reached the week’s midpoint, and that means it is time for another Wrecking Wednesday! This week, we are highlighting the demolition of the Orange Heights Substation in Orange City, New Jersey.

Sessler Wrecking was tasked with the clean demolition of multiple structures, including a canopy on coal bay walls located adjacent to an active railroad, as well as several residential buildings. The project required careful planning and execution to ensure all work was completed efficiently while maintaining a clean and controlled job site.

Our team conducted demolitions near active power lines, both in front of residential homes and along one side of the main building, with a strong focus on safety, precision, and coordination to minimize risk and limit disruption to surrounding infrastructure. All clean construction and demolition (C&D) materials generated during the project were loaded into client-supplied containers.
