Our team was brought in to remove the bridge deck and structural steel from the North Avenue Bridge over I-95 as part of the replacement project. The demolition began with removing the deck, followed by crane-assisted steel picks.

The aging structure had significantly deteriorated over time due to previous impact damage, ongoing wear and tear, and harsh winter conditions, creating instability and the need for a full replacement to improve structural integrity, enhance safety, and support better mobility for both motorists and pedestrians.

To minimize disruption to traffic, our skilled demolition crews worked strategically, performing parts of the project during overnight hours to reduce impact on the traveling public.
