International Wire Facility, Williamstown, New York
Welcome back to another edition of Wrecking Wednesday! This week, Sessler Wrecking is highlighting an emergency demolition at the International Wire Facility in Williamstown, New York!
Sessler Wrecking was tasked with an emergency response project following a snowstorm that caused a roof collapse at the International Wire Facility. The immediate goal was to safely salvage critical equipment and materials from within the compromised structure.
As the project progressed, the scope expanded into a complete selective and mass demolition effort. Our crew successfully removed the entire above-grade portion of the facility, totaling approximately 200,000 square feet, while carefully salvaging and recovering valuable equipment throughout the building.
The comprehensive scope of work was completed in just 80 working days on site, underscoring Sessler Wrecking’s ability to rapidly mobilize, adapt to evolving conditions, and deliver large-scale demolition projects with precision and safety.
