This week for Wrecking Wednesday, we are highlighting the I-89 bridge replacement in beautiful Milton, Vermont.

Sessler Wrecking was tasked with removing and replacing two bridges on I-89 which is located high above the Lamoille River.

Sessler crews conducted the deck removal followed by crane picks for the steel removal. Sessler also utilized one of our Ultra High Reach demolition excavators for the substructure removal. Our bridge demolition experts had to work safely and expeditiously to limit interfering with the traveling public.

This bridge replacement project was in the middle of winter and our crew had to battle the frigid elements and frozen waters, however, not even the unpredictable Mother Nature could prevent our team from completing this project on time.

As always, safety was the main priority, and this project was completed with zero injuries or safety incidents.
