Halfway through the week and ready to wreck, it’s Wrecking Wednesday! This week, Sessler Wrecking is spotlighting an industrial demolition project at the CRH Concrete Plant in Buffalo, New York.

Our team was responsible for the demolition of eight concrete structures, including former raw material buildings, loading facilities, an aged clinker, and load-out silos reaching heights of up to 85 feet. The project also included asbestos abatement as part of our comprehensive scope of work.

In keeping with our focus on sustainability, we implemented on-site concrete crushing to recycle and repurpose materials wherever possible.

To complete the project safely and efficiently, our crew deployed specialized demolition equipment, including an ultra-high reach Volvo excavator and 50-ton Komatsu excavators equipped with hammers and hydraulic shears, showcasing our capability and precision in tackling large-scale industrial demolition projects.
