Hello Wrecking Wednesday! This week, Sessler Wrecking is shining a spotlight on the demolition of the Clark Street Bridge in Arlington, Virginia.
Our Sessler Wrecking team expertly executed the deconstruction of segments of the Clark Street overpass, stretching over 15th Street and 18th Street. Our team skillfully navigated the unique challenges presented by the tight urban surroundings. These challenges involved the removal of the 95′ curved beams over 15th Street and the necessity of working in close proximity to the DC Metro on 18th Street. Effective coordination with the D.C. Metro was crucial for implementing vibration and exhaust monitoring, given the nearness of the metro station.
Safety remained our top priority throughout the project, and we accomplished it safely and within the specified timeframe once again.
