Sessler Wrecking demolishes former Miller Brewing grain silo
Sessler safely completes the demolition project next to an active plant infrastructure with precision torch cutting.
Sessler Wrecking demolished a former Miller Brewing Co. grain silo tank measuring about 105 ft. wide and 100 ft. tall.
The Waterloo, New York-based firm says the project required precision torch cutting to carefully dismantled the tank as it was located immediately adjacent to an active plant infrastructure that included a twin silo, stair towers and a neighboring building.
Working with limited space, Sessler used a CAT 352 95-ft. Ultra High Reach Excavator, the team carefully dismantled the tank down to the top of the existing concrete slab. The firm says each phase of the demolition was strategically planned and controlled to protect the surrounding structures while maintaining a safe and efficient work area.
