Black River Utility Bridge, Watertown, New York
The time has come for Wrecking Wednesday! This week, Sessler Wrecking is highlighting the demolition of Black River Utility Bridge in Watertown, New York.
The structural stability of the Black Utility Bridge was compromised, posing a significant risk to the overall integrity of the bridge. Sessler Wrecking was assigned the responsibility of eliminating the bridge’s substructure and the unstable section to address this critical issue. The Black Utility Bridge was situated in close proximity to the Black River, which necessitated our team’s diligent efforts to safeguard against debris entering the river. To address this concern, they introduced catch cloths and other measures to prevent debris from infiltrating the water.
As always, safety was the main priority, and this project was completed with zero injuries or safety incidents.
