Route 386 Over Black Creek, Chili, New York

Welcome to another edition of Wrecking Wednesday! This week, Sessler Wrecking is shining a spotlight on a bridge demolition in Chili, NY!

Sessler Wrecking was tasked with removing the deck, support beam, truss, and existing substructures of the Route 386 Bridge over Black Creek to prepare for the construction of a new replacement bridge. The team used a capture frame for the deck removal process, which was designed, engineered, and fabricated in-house.

Performing work over the Black Creek required meticulous attention from our crews to ensure no debris entered the water. Strict safety measures were implemented to address and prevent this issue.
