Fort McHenry Cashless Tolling, Baltimore, Maryland
It’s Wrecking Wednesday, and we’re ready to bring the action! This week, Sessler Wrecking is taking a trip down memory lane to highlight the demolition of the Fort McHenry Toll Booths in Baltimore, Maryland.
The project involved removing the entire toll plaza to make way for Open Road Tolling, improving traffic flow on one of the busiest highways in the country. Careful planning and coordination were crucial to ensure traffic control measures were implemented effectively throughout the demolition.
Work was scheduled during evening and overnight hours to minimize disruption for the traveling public. With skilled crews and a strong focus on safety, the project was wrapped up on schedule, delivering a smoother and more efficient roadway for drivers.
