Welcome back to another edition of Wrecking Wednesday! This week, Sessler Wrecking is shining the spotlight on the demolition of a former United States Post Office in Utica, New York.

Sessler Wrecking was tasked with the demolition of the 45,000-square-foot structure to pave the way for future affordable housing development. In the planning stages, our team collaborated with the City of Utica to coordinate around a community event, ensuring pedestrian safety and minimal disruption to traffic throughout the project.

Our best-in-the-business crew successfully abated the aging structure of asbestos, allowing for a clean demolition. The former post office building was then taken down, leaving the site in pristine condition for the developers to begin their project.
