Route 690 Bridges, Syracuse, New York
This week, Sessler Wrecking features two bridge demolitions on Route 690 in Syracuse, New York.
Sessler Wrecking removed the bridges over Beech Street and Teal Ave. Sessler crews cut 7-foot by 9-foot sections of concrete from the bridge and removed them from the deck. Our patented wing trailers were positioned under the bridge to collect and contain debris and protect vehicular traffic and personnel.
This portion of highway is heavily traveled each day, which required a high level of coordination with partners and agencies. As always, safety was a main priority, and this project was completed with zero injuries or safety incidents.
