We are seeking motivated and ambitious students to join our team as Summer Office & Field Interns. This internship offers hands-on experience within a fast-paced construction and demolition environment, providing exposure to both office operations and field activities.
Interns will work alongside experienced professionals and gain practical insight into project coordination, field operations, and construction management. Assignments will be based on individual interests, skills, and academic background, with opportunities to learn across multiple aspects of the business. A designated mentor will support each intern throughout the summer and may participate in company events and community initiatives.
Here’s how an intern contributes to our team:
- Assist Project Engineers, Project Managers, and Project Superintendents
- Conduct safety audits and quality audits
- Read and understand drawings and specifications
- Assist with surveying and project layout
- Maintain and update field drawings, field equipment, and records
- Assist with coordinating subcontractors, vendors, and field staff
- Coordinate material deliveries and documentation
- Attend relevant project meetings
- Assist with estimating and soliciting subcontractors and/or suppliers for information and pricing
- Other duties as assigned
What you will bring to the role:
- A desire to pursue a career in the construction industry
- Available to work based out of our Waterloo, NY, or Southeast office, with the ability to travel to projects across the Northeast or Southeast
- Willing to temporarily relocate to project locations (hotels & travel expenses covered by the company)
- Proof of eligibility to work in the United States
- 18 years of age or older and possess a valid Driver’s License
The salary range for this position is between $18 and $22 an hour, based on experience and qualifications.
