Project Accountant
We are seeking a candidate to support all project accounting and financial matters of Sessler Wrecking. This opportunity will be working in a high growth environment with the Director of Finance as well as other staff in all areas of finance, accounting and project management.
Responsibilities include:
- Lead and coordinate all finance activities for all construction projects.
- Management and administration of all project accounts payable functions including cost coding, account reconciliations, aging reports, and credit card statements.
- Management and administration of all project accounts receivable functions including timely project billings (AIA payment requisitions), collection of past due accounts, general ledger and journal entry reconciliations.
- Responsible for monthly forecasting and analysis of current jobs in progress including job cost reconciliation and WIP reporting.
- Assist in developing project budgets, financial reviews, and cash balance forecasting.
Qualifications needed:
- Bachelors Degree in Accounting or Finance.
- Experience with financial accounting functions.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in servicing both internal and external customers.
- Demonstrated ability to work within a team setting.
- High standards for accuracy, organization, flexibility, and time management.
- Excellent computer and accounting software skills.
